Rental terms
Only the German version of this page is legally binding.
Here is an overview of the main terms. The binding document is the written rental agreement we sign together on collection.
1. Request and reservation
Your request via WhatsApp, phone or email is non-binding. The car is only reserved once we have confirmed it to you. We sign the written rental agreement on collection.
2. Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Valid ID card or passport and valid driving licence, both as originals; photos, copies or digital images of the licence are generally not accepted
3. Prices and billing
All prices include 19% VAT.
- Monday to Thursday: €150 per rental day, 100 km included
- Friday to Sunday: €200 per rental day, 150 km included
- Weekend package Sat–Sun: €400, 300 km included
- Weekend package Fri–Sun: €500, 400 km included
- Weekend package Fri–Mon: €600, 500 km included
A rental day runs from your pick-up time to the same time on the following day and is charged at the rate of the weekday on which it starts. There is a 30-minute grace period on return; after that a further rental day begins. A weekend package applies if the pick-up and return days match the package and the package is not more expensive than the daily rates.
Each kilometre beyond the included mileage costs €1.
For rentals of more than 30 rental days, the price is on request.
Limited-time offers apply as stated for the respective car.
4. Payment and deposit
Payment is made on collection, in cash or by card (a credit card is not required). There is no online payment.
The deposit is €1,000 and is provided on collection, separately from the rental price: in cash or by card (no credit card needed), or by putting up your own car as security – in that case, please bring its registration certificate Part II (Fahrzeugbrief).
5. Pick-up and return
Pick-up and return take place at our premises, Minervastraße 51, 90469 Nürnberg, daily between 8 am and 10 pm. We record the fuel level in the handover report.
6. Insurance
The cars have fully comprehensive insurance. The excess per claim is €5,000.
7. No right of withdrawal
There is no statutory right of withdrawal for car rentals for a specific period (Section 312g(2) no. 9 German Civil Code).
